Facelift
Dr kashyapWhat It Does :
It tightens loose face and neck skin for a younger and fresher appearance. The shaggy cheeks and jowls, as well as, the upper part of the neck are lifted and tightened and become more defined. It does not treat lines or wrinkles unless fillers are used at the same time.

Best Candidates :
Men and ,usually over 40 with wrinkled or sagging facial tissues and signs of aging. In general, the younger and more elastic the skin, the better and longer lasting are the results.

Types Of Facelifts
  • Smas Facelift
  • SHORT SCAR FACELIFT
    This is a variation well suited for patients with less neck looseness. The incision is limited to front of the ear with no extension or a very small extension to the back of the ear.
  • MID FACELIFT
    The lift is limited to the cheek complex and a small incision is employed
  • MACS FACELIFT
    This is minimal access cranial suspension where the neck, jowl and cheeks are lifted and suspended to the covering of the bone and muscles and less dissection is performed.
  • THREAD LIFT OR FEATHER LIFT
    These are variation of thread lifts and are done through very small cuts under local anesthesia. There is little downtime but these last only for 1-2 years and need to be repeated at that time. There is also no skin tightening and these procedures are not suitable for people with loose skin. The best candidates are men and women in their forties with little skin laxity.
  • ENDOSCOPIC FACELIFT
    Endoscopy is used to lift different parts of the face. The usual areas are either the midface, the forehead or the neck.

Blepheroplasty - Eyelid Surgery

Removes excess fat, muscle and skin from upper and lower eyelids giving them a more awake and youthful look, while improving the contour. It does not by itself improve crow's feet or wrinkles around the eye. Pigmentation also is not changed by doing this procedure.

Best Candidates :
Men and women usually after 40 years in age related eyelid looseness. Eyelid looseness and bulges of fat in the upper and lower eyelids are as common in men as in women. Dr kashyapEyelid skin thins with age and the fat around the eyeball may start protruding out and becomes visible through the thin eyelid skin as fat bulges or puffiness above or below the eye. The looseness of skin may also impair field of vision and the brows may sometimes have to be lifted to improve field of vision.

Rhinoplasty - Nose Surgery

A "nose-job" or Rhinoplasty is a surgery designed to improve the shape of the nose for cosmetic purposes as well as sometimes for function. The width of the nose, the height, the tip as well as the nostrils can be reshaped. The rhinoplasty procedure can be used to augment the weak parts and reduce the bumps and disproportionate parts. The nose will look more proportionate to the face and more aesthetically pleasing. This can be coupled with procedures to improve breathing.

Men and women preferably after adulthood

No aerobic activity for 2 weeks. No contact sports for 6 weeks. Glasses should be avoided first few weeks. Avoid blowing the nose for 2 weeks.

Avoid all nasal medications for 3 months before surgery.





Chin Augmentation
What It Does :
To increase chin projection and augment and define the chin and jaw lin an implant is inserted beneath the skin and subcutaneous fat and muscle layer. It is often secured in place with sutures or screws.
A "genioplasty" or sliding of the chin bone is also a procedure to improve projection and definition of the chin.

Best Candidates :
Men and women with retrusive or underprojected chins often in conjunction with rhinoplasty to restore balance to the face.
